Lopez who’s starring in the new low-calorie “Choose More,” campaign for BodyArmor Lite recently spoke to UsWeekly about why exercise and fitness are paramount in her life, especially as a female. “It’s no secret that fitness is a very important part of my life,” Lopez told the magazine while also emphasizing how exercise helps with mental health. “I think there’s a positive correlation between exercise and mental health. When you find a good balance through determination and focus, we’re naturally pushing to be the best version of ourselves.”

The “Marry Me” rom-com star added that exercise is “a motivating factor” and has become more than just a way to stay in shape. It has become a form of therapy and a source of joy for me and a part of life that she likes exerting her muscles “first thing in the morning” regardless of her “busy schedule.” “I try to make good choices and balance my time,” she added.
