No one is full of surprises quite like singing sensation and fashion designer Kanye West. In the past seasons, his fans around the world always have the pleasure to view his collections but at the Yeezy Season 5 show which was debuted yesterday in NYC, the rapper embraced a very surprising approach with no pictures from the show. Here’s the highlight of the show.
- The new Yeezy collection was made up of the pieces no one ever saw coming. There were denim jackets and jeans, duffle bags, athleisure pieces, jackets that read “Calabasas” and oversize hoodies reading “Lost Hills,” which were entirely different from his past collections.

- Kanye also introduced massive running sneakers and snakeskin boots.

- Based on the photos circulating on the social media, cell phones and social media, in general, was completely prohibited but some quests still managed to sneak in their phones for snapshots.

- Unknown models were casted for Yeezy Season 5 presentation, including a 19-year-old Halima Aden — a Somali-American, who made her first runway debut and appearing in hijab that caught the attention of the public.

- There were live projections of models on a massive screen as they walked in real life.
