In a surprising departure from convention, 53-years old Supermodel, Naomi Campbell boldly sported a distinctive look in an ads showcase for Alexander Wang’s 2024 Resort Line campaign, literally baring it all from head to toe and adorning her exposed skin with a stunning array of metallic spikes.
Naomi’s snapshots seen were just one part of a larger collection where she effortlessly advertised Wang’s clothing and accessories. In another shot, she went topless, pairing a set of Alexander Wang jeans with one of the label’s stylish leather bags slung over her shoulder.
Following the post on Alexander Wang’s page on Instagram, fans couldn’t help but shower her with praise and expressed their eagerness for more of her stunning photos. Alexander Wang’s Instagram feed was flooded with adoration from Naomi Campbell’s fans, who eagerly voiced their appreciation with comments like:
“Give us more Naomi. Where are more photos,” “Post more.” “Literally no one does it like her,” “Okayyy aunty still eating em up,” “50 WHERE, geesh.”
Regarding the campaign, the Alexander Wang Brand issued a press release highlighting its focus on exploring and challenging the notion of “transformation” by featuring strong, powerful, and alpha women, a role that Naomi exemplifies. As expected, as soon the photos went live on Instagram, they promptly sparked the enthusiasm of fans, who inundated each post with their admiration.
Designer Wang expressed his admiration for working with the supermodel, characterizing her as a “dream.” He underscored his stance on their collaboration by sharing a photo of her on his social media platform, with the caption, “NEEDS NO INTRODUCTION.”
The supermodel’s public image is gradually becoming marked by her frequent collaborations with designers and platforms to champion sustainability in the fashion industry. Well, this is evident in Naomi’s caption on the post:
“Literally, nothing comes close to the radical and transformative approach of Alex Wang’s latest collection! Thanks you @alexwangny, for your vision, @jamie_morgan_photographer, for your artistic eye, & family ship of 38 years BUFFALO FOREVER !! and for the amazing team that put it all together. I think we nailed it”
However, her commitment to conscious initiatives goes beyond this campaign. Midway through the year, she joyfully welcomed her second child. But that didn’t stop her from joining forces with ’90s runway icons Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford, and Christy Turlington, in gracing the covers of Vogue and Vanity Fair Italia. Together, they launched their docuseries, “The Supers,” on Apple TV+.
Adding to her high moments for the year, the supermodel also introduced her PrettyLittleThing collection during New York Fashion Week earlier in September and received an honor from the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, England. The exhibition, which took place in October, literally highlighted her illustrious four-decade career in the modeling industry.
