Winnie Harlow is one of the fast-rising supermodels in the making and she isn’t afraid to prove it. The Canadian model is the cover star for Vogue India march 2020 issue and she totally stole the limelight, showing her modeling prowess on the cover spread. Forget about Kendall Jenner, Winnie looked poised in the series of snaps, which shows the model in her beautiful vitiligo skin.
Captured by a New York-based photographer Billy Kidd and styled by Vogue India’s fashion director Priyanka Badani, the 25-years-old spoke on how difficult was her career when she literally had no mentor. “My career has been very difficult because I don’t have anyone to look up to,” she said. “I always wondered what the blueprint was, but in this case there, unfortunately, isn’t one.”

We’ve all been there when the Canadian beauty came into the scene and according to her, she always pushed the question away when people ask where she gets her confidence due to her skin condition. “I always try to push this point when people ask me how I’m so strong, so confident, that my family never treated me like I had vitiligo or like I was different—because I’m not.”
While Harlow continues to inspire and represent the people with vitiligo, we can’t help but applaud her bravery.
