By now, you probably have heard about some super talented kids in the music or movie industry before….but have you ever seen a fair share of kids who probably dress than adult or a kid with an absurdly keen fashion sense who is also the CEO of his own company at age 9?
This is the kind of news you that makes us want to hop out of bed and complete some life goals, the style team over at The Huffington Post met an ambitious and super savvy young fashionisto in line at J.Crew and learned he’s doing some pretty amazing things with his short-lived life! Mr. Cory is the CEO of Mr. Cory’s Cookies. He has impeccable style that rivals any model currently pictured in GQ magazine, oh, and he’s only 9 years old.
The young entrepreneur originally hatched his business plan when his family moved from New York to New Jersey and he decided that he was going to buy his mother a car. He started small by selling hot chocolate at his local mall in Englewood, NJ and with the growth of his business he eventually expanded to selling lemonade and cookies. HuffPo chatted with the nine-year-old style star and we learned that he may only be 9 but his charm is well beyond his years.
On his style:
“Fashionable, fancy, different, BOSS, nice, and high quality.”
On his favorite places to shop:
“Zara, Ralph Lauren, Salvation Army, thrift shops, TOPSHOP and J. Crew.
On men’s style must-haves:
“A suit, pocket square, and a classic watch! If you have that, you’re good to go.”
On how his style has impacted his business:
“Presentation is the key to success. People first look at my style and ask “who dresses you? Your mom?” and my mom says “do you see what I have on? I need my son to dress me.”
