We keep saying it that if there were no Kardashians, the internet would be so boring. The Kardashian family is so gifted – at least we already know the father who is now a woman is also a street style star, not to talk of the 59-year-old genuine mother who was (is rather) dating a 34-year-old toyboy, and of course the daughters are doing very well (think fashion, photo-shoot, modelling and so on).
Today, the youngest in the family, Kylie Jenner who is 18 almost broke the internet in a brand spanking new images for Interview magazine December/January double issue, courtesy of photographer Steven Klein. As Elle pointed out, the photos are very editorial, and quite risqué—nothing we’re not used to when it comes to the Kardashians.
Kylie dresses in a number of skintight bondage-inspired looks, from a bronze bustier by Issey Miyake to a full, ass-less latex skirt, holding a champagne flute that reminded us of her sister’s Paper Magazine shoot. Let’s just say well-done to her.
In the shoot, she also talked about the social media and a glimpse of her beauty routine: “I’m way flashier on Instagram and Snapchat, because I feel like that’s what people want to see and that’s what I’ve always done, so I’m not going to stop. People want to see my cars and my purses. People love fashion. But that’s so not me.”
I would probably just never dress up. I would never wear makeup, because I honestly hate wearing makeup. Lately, I’ve just been so over it. I feel like I’m way too young to wear such heavy makeup all the time. It’s just bad for your skin, but I’m always doing photo shoots or red carpets and events, so I just obviously want to look good. And I don’t know, I like hiking. I used to do a lot of hiking when I wasn’t as busy. I had a lot of anxiety when I was younger, so I would just run to this hill path in the back of my mom’s house and listen to Jack Johnson. I would listen to Jack Johnson and stare at the sky until my anxiety went away. When I was 16, I was always outside. We always watched the sunset, the group that I was friends with.
