As summer approaches, Kim Kardashian is heating things up with the release of her latest SKIMS swim collection.
The 43-year-old reality star and fashion mogul recently unveiled a series of sizzling photos showcasing the brand’s new swimwear line, shot by renowned photographer Nick Knight and styled by fashion icon Carine Roitfeld.
In the campaign, Kim oozes confidence as she flaunts her curves in daring black and red pieces, including a halter-style dress and a strapless monkini featuring the brand’s new snake print.
The photos exude a sense of nostalgia, with Knight capturing the collection in a style reminiscent of his iconic fashion campaigns from the early 2000s. This nod to the past pays homage to Kim’s own journey in the spotlight, recalling her rise to fame alongside fellow socialite Paris Hilton.
Per the press release, Knight was actually gigged to “capture the collection in a style reminiscent of his classic and avant-garde fashion campaigns from the 2000s.”
Kim’s partnership with Knight is not new, as the duo previously collaborated on several memorable projects, including a steamy cover shoot for L’Officiel Hommes in 2013 and a striking editorial for V Magazine in 2012. Their latest collaboration for SKIMS’ swim collection continues to push boundaries and redefine standards of beauty and style.
Before now, Kim had given fans a sneak peek while vacationing in Turks and Caicos with her sisters last week.
Photos of Kim and Khloé Kardashian lounging on the beach in matching snake print outfits set the internet on fire, with Kim sporting a triangle bikini and Khloé rocking a high-cut one-piece. The reality star completed her beach look with a stylish cowboy hat, adding a touch of Western flair to the steamy ensemble. “This ain’t Texas… it’s Turks,” she captioned the look!
As the vacation continued, Kim delighted fans with more beachside photos, this time showcasing a black bikini adorned with silver belly chains as she described herself the “Cake Boss” in the caption of an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, April 9.
