She’s worn a lot of jealousy-inducing getups in the past, but her black beaded gown here is the one that will have you reaching for those debit cards. Kim Kardashian is, of course, the latest cover girl on Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, channeling her ’70s style muse, Cher, in a range of retro outfits — from sparkly beaded gowns to vintage-inspired denim look.
Speaking to the publication, Kim affirmed she has more than a thing about Armenian women and that the ’70s disco icon is always her style inspiration. “I always look up to other Armenian women,” she said. ‘I have deep family roots that are similar to hers.”Kim added. “Cher always had the sickest style, I’m obsessed with her. To think that she was wearing these sheer dresses in the ’70s and just what people must have thought back then.”

Kim, who’s widely known for her racy sartorial choices attributed it to feeling confidence: “If doing sexy shoots makes me feel confident, then I’m okay with it. That might not be appropriate for some people, and there’s a time and a place. There’s certain things I’ll show my kids and certain things I won’t show my kids. But generally I am okay with it. In moderation.”
Kim also gave a shout-out to sexy moms: “more power to the moms that look really good, work really hard, do what they can so that they still feel sexy, still feel good about themselves. I don’t think for a second that because you become a mom you can’t be sexy anymore.”
