Runway queen Kendall Jenner has been honored with the Fashion Icon Of The Decade award at this year’s Daily Front Row’s Fashion Media Awards in New York City. As you know, earning such a prestigious award isn’t an easy feat but at 21, Kendall Jenner is a legitimate fashion icon. The news came after the trustees at Daily Front Row described the leggy model as the ultimate style influencer.
“We’re living in a digital decade and Kendall is the ultimate style influencer,” a spokesperson for Daily Front Row explained. “[The] digital generation more than ever turns to social media to learn what’s next and Kendall has 83 million devoted Instagram followers, many of whom emulate her style. Kendall has also captured the hearts of the leading fashion magazines, photographers, and brands. A fashion icon is someone who influences the look of a generation and Kendall has been making a huge impact on their style. It’s noteworthy that fashion bible Vogue has called her the breakout model of her generation and put her on the cover of their September issue in 2016.”
Kendall is no doubt a style influencer, having featured in countless campaigns, runway shows, with her incredible style sense, so according to Daily Front Row, her style persona is incomparable. For the event, the 21-year old fashion icon took center stage as she accepted the award in a glamorous Giambattista Valli gown. The black number is one part floor-length and one part mini silhouette which helped show off her slender pins. Completing the look, Kendall added a pair of ankle strap heels, a striking neck jewelry and romantic red lips for a touch of color.
