Wedding season is already upon us because we can see it popping up on our wedding calender every weekend. For this reason, there is a need to review the things that are not appropriate for a wedding guest to wear.

Like us, if you’ve ever attended a weeding, you must have seen where someone’s outfit got more attention than the couple walking the aisle. Or a situation where a wedding guest makeup or dress code created a total unpleasant wedding atmosphere. This happens almost every weekends, though we can’t stop it entirely -but we can advocate the best way to go to.

Like every other event, wedding have dress code and because I’ve seen too many tacky, scandalous, even my friends have told me their most outrageous wedding attire stories – to help make ignorance not to define you, here are the things never to wear to a wedding. Flip through the gallery to continue:

#1.  White Dress:

Wedding day is assumed to be the most blissful day for the couple, don’t try to cause any confusion with your white dress (I mean don’t wear it at all). There are many colors to choose from – leave the white for the bride and your days will be long. Even if your life is attached to white and you seemed not to like any other color – choose not to attend weddings.

#2. Extra Short Dress:

We can only ask you three simply questions for wanting to wear a super mini dress to a wedding. 1) Are you going to the dance club? 2) Are you there to flaunt your toned legs?  What if you’re tipsy and dancing – what’s going to happen afterwards? Wedding attracts many people from different background and your mini dress can make them say a lot of negative things about you. To avoid this, don’t just wear it.

#3. Plunging Neckline that Reveal Your Ample Cleavage:

#4. Crop Tops and The likes:

We know your love for the new Kendall and kylie Jenner crop tops that you just bought, but wedding event is certainly not the right place to wear it to, because it reveals your belly button. You can save it to run errands with friends.

#5 Backless Dress:

Unless you’re planning to stay right in the car until the wedding is over. But why did you go in the first place if the car was your wedding venue?

#6. Super Tight Dress:

Kim Kardashian wears her own to hang out with Kanye West or take selfie on the red carpet. It is definitely too tight for the wedding, because everything on your body are being magnified.

#7. Very Loud and Wild Print Dress:

Unless you’re a singer and the bride has asked you perform your favorite track to get the reception going, you should never show up to a wedding in such a dress.

#8. See Through Dress:

Its either your bra will show or your thong. Even if you want to pull off J’Lo kind of style, that should not be at wedding. Don’t give the bride a reason to deny you as her friend that day. Like they always say “show me your friend and I will tell who you are”

#9. Sequinned Dress:

Wedding day is for the bride. Why don’t you leave the day for the bride to shine? Of course your day is on the way – you can shine as you want.

Hoodie has never been classified as something dressy. And even if you don’t have any other thing to wear – don’t just dress to the wedding in a hoodie.
