Dior Cruise 2018 show was a gathering many would find hard to forget. First, the French fashion house took the show to the Pacific Palisades, a coastal neighborhood in the Westside of the city of Los Angeles, where the creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri invited a bunch of fashion enthusiasts like Rihanna, Kate Bosworth, Kelly Rowland Miranda Kerr, and even Chimamanda Adichie and a slew of others to light up the event.
Nature’s natural beauty was no doubt the inspiration behind the location likewise Dior’s cruise collection, as Chiuri told Women’s Wear Daily that, “At the end, what I would like to say is that women ought to feel in contact with nature, ought to feel in contact with themselves and should be able to dress themselves in a way that’s really playful.”
On the runway, models were seen strutting in western-inspired hats, fringed sweaters and skirts, sheer dresses, hiking boots, with a tiny black belt fastened to their waist.
