With the American fashion designer, Wes Gordon at the helm of Carolina Herrera, the Resort 2021 Collection was made for all our dreams. Gordon said fashion should bring joy, especially during a time of uncertainty like the Covid-19 pandemic. “The world is serious enough; fashion should let our dreams soar and bring us joy,” he said in a statement. “That was something I kept in mind as I designed these pieces. Pieces that a woman can live her life in but that still let her imagination and dreams dance.”
The collection primarily revolves around this attribute, which comes in varying lengths and colors with fashion-forward detailing like a massive bow, exaggerated shoulder, tiered and pleated motifs that women everywhere would want to wear. There are skirts, pantsuits, sequins numbers, short and long tulle dresses, and even short pants, proving that the collection offers a girl her full wardrobe.
