Finally tying the knot yesterday in South Africa, Adesua Etomi and BankyW just had the dreamiest wedding ever — after a week of their lavish traditional wedding ceremony in Lagos. If by any indication the pictures aren’t lying, it was the type of wedding you’d expect to find on Instagram — elegant outdoor destination backdropped with greenery garland, designer dresses, ridiculously good-looking bridesmaids and groomsmen displaying their luxe getups, and so much more:
For the actual wedding, the bride wore an embellished off-the-shoulder gown with a long train that brushed the floor as she walks. The dress hugged Etomi’s silhouette and accentuated her sleek physique perfectly. She added a matching veil with lace embroidery and adorned her hair with silver tiara which basically elevated the gown to a princes level.
But as an actress who’s married to a famous singer, you just need to pull out all the stops and make the most of the big day. Which means Etomi’s wedding dress was all about setting the ball rolling. She later changed into a dreamy purple dress by Andrea Iyamah, followed by another lavishly fringed, super sparkling silver metallic gown, where she danced the night away together with her Prince.
With dreamy and sexy detailing for the purple dress, and some serious shimmer for the fringed gown, ‘The Wedding Party’ actress basically wore the reception dress of our dreams, and perhaps, the perfect party statement. Accessorising the whimsical reception look, Etomi went minimal and finished with dangling earrings and fairytale-esque hairstyle.
