Zara Marks its 50th Anniversary with a Campaign Full of Supermodels
Zara, the beloved fashion brand that has reshaped the industry over the past five decades, has officially marked its 50th anniversary.
In a grand celebration, the company unveiled an iconic campaign featuring an impressive lineup of supermodels along with a special anniversary collection.
On the exact day of its inception 50 years ago in Galicia, Spain, Zara launched a captivating short film showcasing 50 of the world’s most renowned models.
Icons such as Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, and Christy Turlington came together under the lens of legendary photographer Steven Meisel. Their stunning collaboration not only epitomizes fashion history but also celebrates Zara’s enduring legacy.
Marta Ortega Pérez, non-executive chair of Inditex and daughter of Zara’s founder, emphasized the significance of creativity in the brand’s DNA.
She stated, “Creativity is the heart of Zara — it is the characteristic that defines us.” The film is a testament to the spirit of creativity and passion that has propelled Zara forward over the years.
She highlighted, “This campaign is a testament to everything the teams at Zara have created over the past five decades, honoring their enthusiasm, talent, and boundless creativity.”

Their joyful expressions and energy serve as a perfect backdrop to the timeless nature of the fashion being presented.
Zara’s 50th Anniversary collection pays homage to the timeless elegance of monochrome fashion. Branded as “centered around the monochrome classicism of tuxedo dressing,” the capsule includes an array of 128 pieces.
The collection is characterized by a seductive palette of black, featuring sleek trousers, sophisticated suiting separates, and exquisite cocktail dresses. Additionally, it offers a limited-edition graphic T-shirt priced at $45, along with a multitude of accessories that seamlessly transition from day to night.
