It’s over 2 months now after the untimely death of Joan Rivers, the search for her replacement on still continues, and Tyra Banks is rumored to be the next to take over her seat on E! Fashion Police
A report broke out recently that Katty Griffin would replace Joan Rivers, but The Wrap is claiming the comedian did not test very well for the seat on “Fashion Police.”
“They did some focus group testing on Kathy Griffin,” a source from E! told TheWrap. “The problem viewers mentioned is she’d always be compared to Joan, but never actually as good as her.” At this point, Griffin’s chances of replacing Rivers are “dead,” the insider added. “She was tested and tested poorly because she was too close to Joan’s comedic sensibility.”
Now, who’s going to replace Rivers?
According to another source, Tyra Banks is also rumored to be on the list. The supermodel chances of taking over Rivers seat is quite slim considering her engagement with America’s Next Top Model” and her new talk show “The FAB,”
Another star who has been on the list is NeNe Leakes from the “Real Housewives of Atlanta”, and we are wondering who the seat fit most between the two stars.
However, the network could just forget trying to replace Joan Rivers, and have a revolving group of co-hosts to join Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic and George Kotsiopoulos – because no one can replace her.
