It’s no news the naked dress is one of the most buzzed-about fashion trends, having been popularized majorly by Hollywood A-listers. In fact, in the past few seasons, there is no red carpet without an element of nudity — be it nipples having a moment or an ample amount of skin causing a stir. But while this has been some sort of fun (sartorially) for the purveyors, there are a great number of regular women who’s been negatively influenced because of what is called: star-power.
Nowadays, women, including young girls want to imitate these celebs (hello Kendall Jenner, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid, and Jennifer Lopez, are you there?) to show off their nipples and if it doesn’t look pure authentic they resort to undergoing a surgery. According to a New York-based surgeon Dr. Norman Rowe, the number of women trooping into his clinic for nipple operations has quadrupled – from four to 18 a week – in just six months.
“You see a lot of celebrities now wearing see-through dresses,” he told The Independent. “My patients come in with pictures from magazines of nipples that they want; they want to wear see-through dresses too, and that makes them take a closer look at their nipples.”

Additionally, these women are more concern about their nipples being more visible. “For want of a better word, they want headlights,” Dr. Rowe explains. “I’ve had a number of women tell me that, when they’re wearing a bathing suit, they want their nipples to be more prominent.”
According to Rowe: “Nothing is above cosmetic surgery now, people are looking at every detail,” he said. “It’s not enough now to get a breast augmentation or rhinoplasty – women want to fine-tune every element. And these days, that’s possible.”
