Mai Atafo, Toju Foyeh, Mo’Cheddah Step out in style for the Launch of The Fashion Roundtable
Fashion designers, stylists, and key figures in Nigeria’s fashion and media industry gathered at Canvas Garden, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, on Friday, March 19, 2026, for the launch of The Fashion Roundtable, a new long-form interview series by media personality and entrepreneur Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi.
The show, which premiered on YouTube, is positioned as a platform for in-depth conversations with individuals shaping Nigeria’s fashion industry. It aims to move beyond surface-level storytelling by focusing on the realities behind the work, including business challenges, creative processes, and personal journeys.

According to her, the series was created to document the voices and experiences of industry players who are often seen but rarely heard in depth.
“I created The Fashion Roundtable because I wanted a space to have real, honest conversations with the people who are shaping Nigeria’s fashion industry,” Gbemi said. “Nigerian fashion is getting so much attention globally, and now feels like the perfect time to share these voices and their stories.” Said Gbemi.
The launch event drew a strong turnout from across the fashion ecosystem. Fashion designers, Mai Atafo, Toju Foyeh, Lady Beelionaire Luxury, Ejiro Amos Tafiri, Aanuoluwa Ajide-Daniels of Aso, stylists, Rhoda Ebun and Zack Aminu.
