You probably may be in doubt, but that is truth. Madonna’s iconic wardrobe brought in some cool cash this past weekend at the Icons & Idols: Rock ‘n’ Roll charity auction in Beverly Hills. Her weddinng dress from her marriage to Sean Penn in 1985 was one of the top sellers.
Among the items which were featured in the auction includes her softball uniform from “A League of Their Own,” which sold for $31,250, and her gown and stole from her “Material Girl” music video that sold for $73,125.
However, one of the biggest item at the auction, according to Julien’s Auction, was her wedding gown from her 1985 wedding to Hollywood bad boy Penn, which sold for $81,250.
According to the report, the highest-selling bid was for the jacket she wore in 1985’s Desperately Seeking Susan, which went for $252,000,
