When we first heard the news that Mayowa Nicholas of Beth Models Nigeria who won the Elite Model Look competition in 2014 landed a major deal with Dolce & Gabbana, we couldn’t wait to see the campaign pics. Well, as pointed out by FashionTimes, Mayowa Nicholas is now the first Nigerian to be featured in Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter Ad Campaign and as expected, the images are awesome.
The 2016 Fall/Winter ad campaign was photographed by Franco Pagetti on the cobblestone streets of Naples in Italy, which also featured other models — from Bianca Balti, Leila Goldkuhl, Sasha Kichigina and Cong He.
“We’re here in Naples because we think these people are the best people in the world. Very strong. With unlimited heart,” the Milan-based brand wrote the label on its Facebook page. “It is still like the 1950s here, in a way. This is a place that hasn’t lost its roots and we appreciate that.”
Mayowa on the other hand couldn’t hold the excitement; she took to her page and wrote “MAJOR MOMENT💥
DOLCE AND GABBANA FALL WINTER 16 CAMPAIGN
