As if Céline Dion’s huge success in music isn’t enough, she’s spreading her wings even further to launch a wide-ranging lifestyle line, including clothing, accessories, beauty, and home furnishings. The Canadian soul singer is ready to get back to work after she lost her husband to death in January.
In a statement, her partner Dell Furano told Billboard that, “In today’s world, you need a coordinating and consistent branded approach to everything.” “On a global level, [artists] need to combine all areas—their music, performances, touring, website, social media—and launching a lifestyle brand was just a natural extension for Celine at this point in her career, particularly because it’s all from her point of view.” — he added.
The brand which according to Billboard, is called “Céline Dion” as a placeholder, will offer activewear, accessories, eyewear, beauty, and travel products and are expected to hit the stores from next fall.
