She probably has a better week than most people every week, but this week is proving especially golden for Beyoncé. Aside from getting more MTV Video Music Award nominees than anyone else (eight, to be specific), it was also announced that she’s getting her first museum exhibition at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio.
The exhibition is going to feature her performance looks, which we all know to be amazing, and Bey apparently agreed to send over so much stuff, including her metal-plated “Single Ladies” outfit that the only space big enough to accommodate her was the Legends of Rock room, so she’s now legitimately a rock star, as well.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced yesterday 19 July, that it is adding seven Beyoncé outfits to its Legends of Rock section, and they are as follows:
Although Bey isn’t eligible for induction into the Rock Hall until 2022, her outfits will be featured next to legendary pieces from David Bowie, Michael Jackson, and Bruce Springsteen. The exhibit opens next Tuesday at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland, Ohio.
