We’re not entirely surprised that Yemi Alade turned up in South Africa looking impossibly chic; it has become more of a lifestyle and she’s really been knocking it out of the park in recent weeks. As one of the co-host of MTV African Music Awards that is happening today evening, we expected her elevated display of outfits from the red carpet, but the singer, even before the show, pulled out all the stops to give us 2 looks that’s already earning a page on our style book.
First, she pounded the pavements of SA in a ruffled hemmed purple dress, which she offset with a pair of black heels, top handle bag and dark lipstick. And before a blink of an eye, the Johnny singer resurfaced in another show stopping look: white shirt and burgundy skintight jumpsuit teamed with nude heels.
