We’ve lost counts of how many times Victoria Beckham had said she’s retiring from wearing heels but realistically speaking, the designer is finding it difficult to keep her promises. Her most recent proclamation, VB told the Telegraph , “I just can’t do heels anymore. At least not when I’m working. I travel a lot. Clothes have to be simple and comfortable.”
Beckham is one of the style stars we know, often stepping out mixing unexpected colors to create polished and sophisticated looks, but yesterday the former Spice Girls kept in beige hue. She was spotted pounding the pavements of New York in a masculine-inspired look which featured a pair of wide-leg pants and oversized blazer layered over a blue shirt. Of course, VB once again broke her high heels vows, slipping into towering heels that complemented her pants while cuddling a strapless brown back like a true style maven.
But she did tipped us off on one key styling hack worth noting: Super wide-legged pants are best worn with platforms for a retro feel.
