Tyla has entered a new realm of sartorial boldness.
On Sunday, January 26, she graced the front row of the Jacquemus Men’s show in Paris, captivating the audience with a sultry black gown that redefines the “naked dress” trend. With the creative genius of designer Simon Porte Jacquemus behind her, Tyla brought a unique vibe to the bustling fashion capital, effortlessly commanding attention amidst an elite crowd.
This year has marked a significant evolution in Tyla’s fashion journey. From her eye-catching archival Gucci minidress to her fabulous homage to Aaliyah’s iconic tiger-print Roberto Cavalli dress, Tyla has been making a name for herself as a fashion heavyweight. Each outfit has showcased her fearless approach to style, and her latest ensemble is no exception. With substantial cutouts and a daring silhouette, Tyla’s look at the Jacquemus presentation embodies her signature shock factor while embracing contemporary elegance.
Taking her place among high-profile guests like Pamela Anderson and Carla Bruni, Tyla donned a breathtaking black maxi dress that nearly opened completely along the sides, revealing her toned side torso and a flirty pair of black underwear beneath.
The gown featured a high neckline, ensuring that despite its bold design, the overall look remained polished and sophisticated. With added flair from her chunky zebra-print hoops, Tyla’s ensemble seamlessly blended daring with chic, showcasing her unique fashion sensibility.
As the Jacquemus Fall 2025 collection unfolded on stage, the South African singer stood out as a mesmerizing presence among her fellow front row attendees. While many other guests turned heads, none could rival Tyla’s electrifying style, which illuminated the Parisian runway and solidified her status as a fashion influencer. Her audacious choice of attire not only highlights her personal style but also positions her as one who is not afraid to show off a generous amount of skin.
Last year, she made known that she’s in time of fully unveiling herself to the world while describing her style “I love incorporating tiger print and the effortless island vibes [into my look]—especially in this era, because it’s obviously me introducing myself to the world and those themes are heavy in the stuff that we’re doing. We’re introducing it as part of the Tyla story,” Tyla told Bazaar.
“It’s just so fun to make it all exciting for the fans. I’m excited to perform more and give people more visuals and content and just expand the world that we’ve created and allow more people in—just like how it used to be when I was younger and I was a fan girl. I really wanna create that type of excitement again.”
