Tiwa Savage Was A Vision In A Shimmering LDA Green Gown At King Charles’s Coronation

It’s no doubt the coronation of King Charles III and his wife, Camilla, the Queen consort, was a history-making event, and making part of the history is Tiwa Savage who delivered a beautiful rendition during the ceremony.

The Nigerian Afrobeat superstar wowed the audience when she took the stage to perform “Keys to the Kingdom,” a 2019 song she released with Mr. Eazi that featured on Beyoncé’s album: “The Lion King.” While the performance was an ode to the crowning of King Charles III and Camilla, we like to think Tiwa Savage deserves an award for her stunning outfit.

She hit the stage wearing a custom-made, shimmering green gown by Lanre Da Silva. The dress had a strapless design, figure-skimming fit, and gathered waist area that flowed into a large train. Savage matched her ensemble with just the right amount of accessories — from a pair of killer Christian Louboutin heels, teardrop earrings, and a silver choker necklace, to her green manicure.

As per the songstress, her performance at the coronation was indeed an unforgettable one. “Too many to choose from. This is one I’ll never forget,” she captioned one of her looks on Instagram, along with an appreciation to God. “Baba God you too much,” she added.

Other notable stars such as Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Take That, Freya Ridings, Alexis Ffrench, Andrea Bocelli, and Sir Bryn Terfel, also joined Tiwa Savage to perform at the crowning of King Charles III.
