Nigerian actress Rita Dominic is making a great stride in her career by acquiring the “Miss Nigeria” beauty pageant. This means that after 16 years of the annual beauty contests that operate under the organization of Folio Communications PLC owned by her husband Mr. Fidelis Anosike, Dominic has concluded the legal paperwork to take over the “Miss Nigeria” brand through her film company, The Audrey Silva Company (TASC).
“The Miss Nigeria Pageant is a true representation of One Nigeria,” Dominic said in a statement. “The platform has over the years empowered young women from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and religions, and I am proud of what my husband, Fidelis Anosike, founder of Folio Communications and Publisher of Daily Times newspaper has done with the brand for 16 long years. I am pleased to announce that he is handing over the reins to me and partnering with TASC.”
Per the Nollywood actress, having been in the movie production and the entertainment industry for over 25 years, she’s been equipped with all the knowledge in planning and executing the policies that will take the Nigerian beauty pageantry to greater heights. She noted this alongside the husband appraising the capabilities of the actress with confidence and high expectations.
“Who better to take it to the next level than my delectable wife Rita Dominic and The Audrey Silva Company,” said Anosike. “I am confident that she will take the pageant higher to the pride of Nigeria. We welcome the Audrey Silva company into the Miss Nigeria 1957 partnership with great expectation which will be for the Miss Nigeria platform to transition into an empowerment trust for young Nigerian women.”
Rita Dominic and Fidelis Anosike had their traditional wedding ceremony on April 19, 2022, where they were surrounded by friends and family in the bride’s hometown in Anambra State, the Eastern part of Nigeria. Eight months later, the couple celebrated their wedding in a private ceremony in North Yorkshire, England. There, she walked the aisle in a breathtaking white sleepless wedding gown, featuring a sexy plunging neckline with a long train that trailed behind!
