Happy Birthday to Rita Dominic who turned 46 yesterday.
The actress looked quite like a birthday girl when she shared a new photo on Monday in honor of her new age. She went full-on green donning this gorgeous number for a photoshoot and pairing the look with just a pair of silver earrings. Featuring a plunging neckline, gathered waist, and side slit, Dominic kept her beauty look simple, wearing her voluminous side part curly hair, minimal makeup, and color-coordinated manicure and pedicure to match the dress.

She was however celebrated like a star with friends and colleagues reposting the photo on the social media platform. Prompted by their kind wishes, the La Femme Anjola star further shared another photograph but this time, posing up a storm while reclining on a bench. “Cake Day. Still On It. Thanks for all the love. Love you and you! 🥰♥️🤗,” she captioned the photo on Instagram.

The actress has recently been busy promoting her new featured movie, La Femme Anjola. The thriller which was released in Nigerian cinema in April stars Nonso Bassey and Dominic who plays Anjola, a sinister femme fatale role that once again proved the actress’ acting skills.
As per Dominic, playing the dark role indirectly affected her in real life. “Anjola is a very dark character, infact I remember when we were in the Basement shooting, it was so dark in there that it literally affected me, I wasn’t sleeping well. I’ll try to sleep and I’d wake up abruptly,” Dominic told Chude Jideonwu in an interview.
She continued; “I remember one night my assistant came in, no it was in the early hours of the morning, she was trying to get tea, wake me up and things like that and she was trying to be quiet because she knew I slept pretty late, so I just woke up abruptly and I remember her running to the bed and asked me ‘aunty what’s wrong’. I just said I’m really connecting with her, I don’t like this… err the energy is bad and I see it’s Anjola just taking over.”
