Rihanna Breaks The Internet Again With Her Supper Bowl Halftime Show

It was worth the wait as Rihanna returned to the Supper Bowl stage!

After seven years and leaving fans with high expectations, Rihanna finally performed at the Supper Bowl LVII Halftime Show on Sunday night and left no stone unturned. As expected, the music superstar delivered, giving fans the show of the year. Rihanna performed hits such as “Umbrella”, “Rude Boy”, “Diamonds” and more to her fans across the world within the 13-minute time frame.

As per a report, Super Bowl is the most-watched halftime show with a TV audience of 118.5 million, so you could imagine! Riahanna’s Super Bowl performance came 7 years since the release of her eighth studio album, Anti, in 2016 and of course, becoming a mother to her first child in 2022

For the show which took place at the multi-purpose State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, Rihanna showed in a floating stage wearing a crimson red jumpsuit by Loewe paired with two different matching Alaïa coats and chunky sneakers by Maison Margiela x Salomon Cross. As one who’s no stranger when it comes to big surprises, she came with a big reveal of her second pregnancy, leaving the internet in pieces. A rep of the superstar confirmed to Hollywood Reporters and People that she’s truly pregnant.

The singer wore her hair in a high ponytail split into two braids with front tendrils framing her face while highlighting her beauty with this Fenty Icon Velvet Liquid Lipstick to play up the red theme. At a point in the middle of her performance, she paused to blot her face with Fenty Beauty’s Invisimatte Instant Setting and Blotting Powder, given to her by one of her dancers.

Rihanna has however earned history with her 2023 Super Bowl performance being the first pregnant woman to perform at the highly-anticipated show.

“But when you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world, you could do anything. And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world.” the singer said last week at the Apple Music Pre-Super Bowl conference. “So as scary as that was because I haven’t been on stage in seven years, there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all. And it’s important for me to do this this year. It’s important for representation, it’s important for my son to see that.”
