Apart from her hosting gigs which she is known best for, if there’s one thing to know about Bonang Matheba — it’s that she slay at every given opportunity. She’s everyone’s red-carpet favorite in SA and while she had big shoes to fill as the host of 2018 Miss South Africa, Bonang brought all she got in the style department.
The media gal made sure all eyes were on her in four separate looks at the glamorous event which took place in Sun Arena at Time square in Pretoria last Sunday night. She wore a strapless red gown, a cold shoulder dress, intricately embellished off-the-shoulder dress, as well as this enviable cobalt blue number. So not only did she come to own the moment, but she was on theme. Extra points!
The show kicked off with 12 finalists competing for the highly coveted tiara but it was the beautiful Tamaryn Green, a 23-year-old medical student, who beat the rest of the contenders to snag the crown.
Following her winning, Green said: “As Miss South Africa I will use my medical knowledge to help and heal. Secondly, as an influencer, I will inspire and motivate all the women of South Africa to reach for their strengths and overcome their challenges.”
