Omotola Jalade is Pretty in a Black Dress and White Accessories at an IWD Event in Ghana

 

Omotola Jalade had a glamorous time in Ghana. 

The actress was in Accra on Wednesday to speak at an event celebrating the 2023 International Women’s Day. The special ceremony at the Labadi Beach Hotel was filled to the brim with women and the Nollywood star shared the podium with other notable personalities. 

For the occasion, Omotola Jalade made her appearance in a monochromatic outfit. She wore a ladylike look featuring a black long-sleeve velvet midi dress with an off-the-shoulder, gathered white bodice.

As for accessories, Jalade kept the look lavishly color-coordinated with white accouterments, including a pair of ankle strap court shoes, drop earrings, statement pearl beads necklace, and bangles. The actress further raised her oomph with a messy top bun and on fleek makeup.

She also shared the video on Instagram to give her fans a good view of her look, a glimpse into the event, and when she gave a speech at the event which was tagged “Woman of Valourl.” Omotola received a rousing welcome from fans when she made her way to her seat and during her speech, she talked about how she overcame her challenging childhood.

“My message to you today is, the journey is courageous, the journey is longevity,” the actress said during her speech. For me, a “Woman of Valour” is a very strong woman. You don’t need people to accept you, you need to come into your power because you are a strong woman”

The event was organized by Nana Aba Anamoah — a Ghanaian media personality and the current General Manager of a Ghana-based entertainment TV channel GHOne TV and Starr 103.5 FM. And joining Omotola Jalade on stage were a South African SuperSport international presenter, Julia Stuart, and Eugenia Baffour Bankoh, a Ghanaian children’s rights activist.
