As one of the A-list Nollywood actresses, Mercy Johnson has access to pretty much any piece of fashion she may want to wear for special occasions. She made the decision, however, to opt for something very special for a Globacom event last night, so rather than sticking to her usual designer, Mercy showed up, outfitted in a figure-hugging, embellished strapless dress made by Luminee — the same designer that’s been dressing Mercy Aigbe for the red carpet.

Basically, with the formfitting through the body and the mermaid ruffle hem, the dress exudes the classic Mercy Johnson style but there was another detail that didn’t go unnoticed. The somewhat structured sleeves had us pondering, how was the actress able to lift her hands in real life? Though we’re not sure how comfy she was, this beautiful creation was uniquely crafted.
