The Ghanaian and Nigerian actress recently stood out at the MIPAD 100 event during the 2024 United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York City. She was honored as one of the Most Influential People of African Descent under 40, alongside Diane Russet, Asake, Zendaya, Tunde Onakoya, Nancy Isime and many others, highlighting her contributions to African culture and impactful advocacy work.
Sharing her excitement on social media, the actress expressed how humbled and honored she felt to be included. “I’m truly grateful to be listed among the awardees under 40 for this year’s prestigious @mipad100 event,” she wrote while acknowledging the significance of this recognition.

The event held even more meaning as it coincided with Ghana’s President, Nana Akufo-Addo, also receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award, which she described as inspiring.
The philanthropist noted that being named alongside such prominent figures is not just an honor but a reminder of her responsibility to make a positive impact.
“I look forward to using this platform and award to further drive positive change, impact lives, and celebrate Africa’s rich cultural heritage,” the actress added, reaffirming her commitment to advocacy and philanthropy.
For the occasion, Ibrahim dressed to impress. She wore a gorgeous Ankara two-piece by designer Chuks Collins, which she proudly mentioned was fresh off the runway. The look featured a roomy-sleeved cropped top with a plunging neckline and a high-waisted maxi skirt.
The actress accessorized her ensemble with black heels, dangling earrings, and gold bangles and rings. Her look was further elevated with sophisticated makeup featuring a soft smoky eye, warm highlights, a chic brown lip, and long tousled hair, ensuring she stood out on such occasions.
