What else is better than marking a birthday on a Saturday?
For Ini Edo, who just turned 40 years old today, the new age means dressing up like a princess in the most beautiful look possible. The actress stole the show this afternoon and made everyone else fade in her presence.
Designed by XBL Bridal, she went for a much more demure baby pink look for her 40th birthday photoshoot, opting for a super voluminous ball gown with a high-neck, puffy long-sleeved lace bodice. For a more dramatic touch, she added a cache of white beads atop her head to compliment her silver stud earrings.
And oh yeah, she struck a wonderful Princess poss, allowing the dress to take the center stage.
“This is 40,” the Nollywood star captioned the look on Instagram. “I possess the qualities needed to be extremely successful. Creative energy surges through me and leads me to new and brilliant ideas. Happiness is a choice.”
She continued: “My ability to conquer my challenges is limitless. My potential to succeed is infinite. My thoughts are filled with positivity and my love is plentiful with prosperity. Everything that is happening now is happening for my ultimate good.”
This comes just a few days when she almost stole all the limelight during Rita Dominic’s traditional wedding wearing a custom-made green number by the same designer.
