But just how thankful is she?
To answer that question, it’s crucial to note there are basically two types of people in this world: those who send out thank-you notes and those who slip on a bikini and perform acrobatic stunts in the grass to show appreciation.
Queen Bey falls under the latter category, so the freshly minted 33-year-old took to Instagram with photographic proof her fans inspire her to defy gravity, a considerable feat of flexibility and flawlessness.
“Thank y’all so much for my birthday wishes!” wrote the singer, who marked the milestone Sept. 4 and was spotted celebrating with husband Jay Z in Portofino, Italy.
We’re very pleased with her response, although we can’t help but wonder what Blake Lively got for baking Beyoncé a birthday cake.
