Funke Akindele turned her special day into a fashion spectacle, showing off breathtaking looks that reflected both her bold personality and her timeless grace.

She began her birthday celebration with a video where she dazzled in an olive green off-the-shoulder gown with puffed sleeves and a structured bodice. 

The satin-like fabric draped beautifully, with intricate pleats that highlighted her bodice and skirt, giving her a regal appearance. Her hair was styled in a sleek low bun, complementing the gown’s neckline, while her makeup glowed with dewy skin, glossy lips, and radiant eyes. 

Sparkling diamonds, chic sunglasses, and a delicate bracelet completed the ensemble, adding refinement without overwhelming the look. Silver “48” balloons and a white-and-gold cake which had her full name, Olufunke, provided the perfect celebratory backdrop, infusing joy and festivity into the luxurious aesthetic.

Later, Funke wowed fans again with a long, shaggy golden textured coat that screamed high-fashion. The coat’s bold texture made a statement all on its own, while minimal styling underneath kept the look sharp and modern. 

Black strappy heels with oversized bows added a playful, feminine twist, while her sleek center-parted ponytail and glowing, polished makeup highlighted her radiant beauty. Beyond her birthday fashion looks, Funke Akindele took the opportunity to give fans a sneak peek of her upcoming December 2025 movie, Behind the Scenes, revealing the casts also.

Most recently, her 2024 blockbuster Everybody Loves Jenifa smashed all previous records, pulling in N1.882 billion and becoming the highest-grossing Nigerian film of all time.
