Embracing the fur and feather aesthetic, the singer showed up at the court yesterday and dressed to kill. Cardi is currently battling a case in Queens Criminal Court in New York City, following the allegation of her physical altercation with two bartenders in a strip club last year.
Opting for a fur and feather Marc Jacob coat that comes with a long train, Cardi really stood out from the crowd. Of course, she teamed the luxurious black number with a pair of black pants trousers, a white button-down, offset with thin black tie and this pair of Christian Louboutin heels.

This is clearly isn’t the first time the rapper is making such a chic sartorial statement during her court appearance. In fact, a couple of months ago, Cardi sauntered into the court with a group of bodyguards surrounding her, donning a clean-cut navy blue double-breasted pantsuit.

In her recent court hearing, reports are saying that the Grammy award-winning rapper pleaded not guilty, and her lawyers have denied she harmed anyone. “We believe she’s innocent, and so we’re investigating all aspects,” lawyer Drew Findling said after the court appearance.
