If you do keep up with Cardi B’s fashion, there is a 99.9% chance you came across the photo of the singer wearing a Louis Vuitton jacket recently. The look was shared on her Instagram account in August last month. Cardi’ wore the trench coat with black heeled sandals, LV beret, along with a round handbag from the same label, looking like an effortlessly, chic Parisian woman.
“Yea it’s 94 degrees where I’m at, I’m still finna wear this jacket,” the WAP hitmaker wrote while sharing the image.

In a new video, Cardi B revealed that her handbag was used to create the beret. The mother-of-one took to Instagram explaining to the fans that she needed something to match with her dress as she was the first to wear the luxury coat.
“So guys, I got this jacket from Louis Vuitton,” Cardi explained. “Now, this jacket is not out in the market till the 24th of next month…so I’m gonna be the one wearing this jacket first.” She continued while picking up her clean Louis Vuitton tote bag. “I have this purse right here and this purse is gonna be made into a beret.”
From the video, however, Cardi did not only ruin her expensive designer handbag but the style hack is a lesson to reckon with. Rather than getting a new beret, the singer made the most of her unused item and the result isn’t disappointing.
