As the Fourth of July is drawing closer, music icon Beyoncé is already showcasing some classic Americana style to get fans in the holiday spirit. Taking a break from her newfound cowboy-inspired fashion, Beyoncé shared some stunning beach vacation photos on Instagram today, revealing a chic ensemble perfect for a yacht outing with her husband Jay-Z.
The focal point of Beyoncé’s outfit is a lovely minidress from Ibiza-based brand Charo Ruiz. The dress featured elegant white lace, scalloped edges, a keyhole cutout, and a form-fitting bodice, embodying the cottagecore trend mixed with her current fascination with Americana fashion, influenced by her Cowboy Carter era.
Bey added a touch of the Wild West to her look while accessorizing the look with paisley-patterned pieces. She elegantly wrapped a white headscarf around her head, reminiscent of fashion icon Audrey Hepburn. Accompanying the relaxed summery look was also a cherry-red leather tote bag resembling a paisley handkerchief and sleek narrow sunglasses with white frames. The ensemble was completed with a bold red lip, tying all the elements seamlessly together.
Earlier this year, Beyoncé announced her upcoming eighth studio album, Cowboy Carter, which has inspired her recent fashion choices. From denim on denim to bolo ties and even assless chaps, the Texas-born superstar has been redefining traditional Western wear with a modern twist. While announcing the album, the Grammy winner thanked fans (Hello Beyhive) as she opened up about what inspired the album.
“And it was very clear that I wasn’t,” the pop icon shared. “But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of country music and studied our rich musical archive. It feels good to see how music can unite so many people around the world, while also amplifying the voices of some of the people who have dedicated so much of their lives educating on our musical history.”
She continued: “The criticisms I faced when I first entered this genre forced me to propel past the limitations that were put on me. act ii is a result of challenging myself, and taking my time to bend and blend genres together to create this body of work.”
