Following the Black Lives Matter movement, Beyonce has been using her platform to speak up regarding the issue. Six days ago, she shared a video asking for justice over the death of George Floyd. She further advised the beyhives to sign a petition for the senseless killing and also continue to pray for peace, compassion, and healing for the country.
Her message was heartfelt and a fan was quick to applaud the singer’s spirit of leadership, as the First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump remained dumb about the outrage. “If you want to demand more charges brought on all those involved in the death of George Floyd, click the link in my bio to sign the petition,” Queen Bey captioned the video.
After watching the video, a fan left a comment: “Queen B has said something that even the 1st lady of this country hasn’t had the heart to say! This is a character being displayed in the form of leadership 👏.”
Further demonstrating her good spirit of leadership, the ‘Formation’ singer shored another photo that shows a crowd of protesters in the streets of Paris, asking fans not to lose focus while leaving a caption of a long-list of black people were wrongfully killed by white cops. “Let’s remain align and focus in our call for justice,” she wrote.

Currently, protests have spread across the globe and while the four policemen who were involved in the killing of George Floyd were charged, there still a lot more to be done.
