Bella Hadid is catching the eyes of onlookers as she makes a splash in the beauty department with her latest hair transformation. As she arrived at the renowned Hotel Martinez in France on May 12, ahead of the 78th Cannes Film Festival, Hadid unveiled her natural honey blonde hair—a move that undoubtedly distinguishes her from her iconic brunette look.
The model’s arrival in the French comes a few hours after the organization released the dress code for the event with a ban on sheer dresses. Accompanied by her new locks styled flawlessly in an elegant up-do, Bella shared an enticing glimpse of her look on her Instagram Stories, allowing her audience to admire the shiny texture of her hair, which flowed gracefully over part of her face.

She completed her look with a Saint Laurent Manhattan purse and heart-shaped heels from the same brand, setting a high bar for red carpet fashion right before the festival’s festivities kicked off.
While Hadid’s golden locks may come as a surprise to those accustomed to her signature dark tresses, this isn’t the first time she has embraced her natural color. In fact, there have been glimpses of this hue in the past, including a throwback to 2019 where her blonde hair bore a striking resemblance to that of her sister, Gigi Hadid.

These moments remind us that Hadid’s style evolution is as dynamic as her career in the modeling world.
In previous interviews, Hadid has candidly shared her motivations behind sporting brunette hair—specifically stating her desire to carve out her own identity separate from her sister. “I just have a darker personality. And my sister being blonde and me being brunette, it’s a good separation,” she explained to Allure in 2016.
“I put a blonde wig on and think it would be fun to go back, but I’m happy with my hair. Blondes are so angelic. My sister can get away with anything.” This statement not only displays her comfort with her decision but also hints at the unique connection she shares with her sister Gigi, an equally well-known figure in the fashion industry.
Bella Hadid’s honey blonde hair is a prelude to what many anticipate will be a stunning series of appearances at the Cannes Film Festival. As the festival continues to garner attention from celebrities, designers, and fashion aficionados, all eyes will undoubtedly be on the moments Hadid chooses to unveil further inspirations from her evolving style.
