When singer Waje hit the stage at Alibaba’s January 1st Concert last night, we can imagine how many showgoers were blown away by her outfit. The star hasn’t made such a dramatic appearance for a long time, so we were smitten to see her kicking off the year in an Ankara style worthy of a serious attention.
The show took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites, where the hall was filled to the brim with the biggest names in attendance, but apart from the staggering musical and comedy display, Waje’s Ankara dress was a show on its own. The songstress was decked in Ejiro Amos Tafiri’s oversized, structured custom-made Ankara dress that looked some parts like Agbada. She teamed up the dress with Ankara ankle pants, complete with a pair of pink towering heels. Seriously, Waje was a true stunner and she knows it.
