Genevieve Nnaji may be an A-list actress but that doesn’t mean she wears makeup everyday. In fact, the Nollywood star regularly shares bare-faced photos on social media and has posted another cute snap for her fans.
Wearing what looks like a durag and a pair of oversized glasses, Gene who was companioned by her furry brown dog, captioned her makeup-free selfie with an exclamation to get some attention, “Hey there .”

Back in July 2020, Gene shared another no-makeup selfie, and she was naturally glowing. “The best time to relax is when you don’t have the time to,” she captioned the pic.
The actress has been rated the ‘Nigeria’s Sharon Stone.’ Earlier in 2019, she made history for the directorial debut of her movie, Lionheart, which scored a deal with Netflix to become the first Nigerian original film on the streaming platform.
The movie was however snubbed by The Academy Awards (a.k.a Oscars) under the nomination of its best international feature film category. But just last month, the Nollywod darling was compensated and announced as a member of the 2020 Class of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, amongst others.
