Having conquered both the music and fashion world and once declared his intention to run for the seat of a US president (literally), Kanye West is on the mission to become a beauty mogul too.
According to a TMZ report, Kanye has filed a trademark for Yeezy beauty. To make it clearer to you, the trademark covers Yeezy makeup, fake lashes, face masks, nail polishes, moisturizers, body oils, shaving creams, hair care, perfume, toothpaste, as well as deodorants.
If the beauty line eventually launches, the rapper will not only join but become a major rival to his wife Kim Kardashian and sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner who all own their beauty brands: KKW Beauty and Kylie Cosmetics.
Of course, no one ever saw this coming but BAZAAR.com quoted Kim when she said in 2017 that Kanye is always talking about launching beauty products. “I have no idea where that came from. That’s not true,” the reality star told the media outfit when asked about the possibility of Kanye launching a beauty line. “He’s always talked about doing stuff like that, but I don’t think that anything is in the works.”
While the news is still fresh, all fingers are crossed to see what West is actually cooking.
