False eyelashes are a great companion to our eyes. They are just amazing and adds a dose of drama to any look. As much as we like them and want to wear a pair every time, especially the realistic-looking fake eyelashes, it’s no big surprise some of us might still fail when it comes to keeping up with good hygiene.
Like every other makeup kit, for example, makeup brushes, false eyelashes also require some effort to keeping them clean. It’s okay to thrash your falsies after every use but of course, with the minimum price of $25 for a pair, there’s no reason you wouldn’t give them another chance for reuse. But courtesy demands that you treat them with care, keep them looking and smelling clean. This will not only prolong the life of your false lashes but it will save you a lot of money. According to a makeup artist, “reusing your lashes is a great way to save money when you’re doing your own makeup.”
However, the cleaning process is a great task that requires attention in other to avoid damage. You will also need some necessary items such as slant tweezer, glass bowl, rubbing alcohol, and paper towels to pat the lashes after washing.
