Some people can issue you a court notice for cutting one inch of their hair, while others have no problems making a change with a drastically short haircut. Apparently Stephanie Linus Okereke is one of the latter. After growing out her hair out for a couple of years and being sporting the lustrous long hair, the actress has decided to go back to the basic, not because of a movie role but because she wanted to try something new for the new year. Of course, why not?
She shared the major style transformation on Instagram yesterday, alongside a video explaining to her fans why she took such a surprising decision. With dark eyeshadow, glossy nude lips and a perfectly done subtle makeup, Okereke gave the world a closeup of her brand new hairstyle.

“Hey Amazonias, Don’t overthink it. It’s 2020! I just wanted to try something new,” the actress captioned the photo. “It’s been a long time I saw my scalp! Growing my hair afresh… I can’t wait to see the new growth. It’s quite liberating I must say! #Expressyourselfandbebold. What do you think?”
The new-look generated a lot of comments, with many expressing just how beautiful she looks. Admittedly, we can’t get enough of her beauty and if you ask us, there’s no point growing out new hair.
Okereke’s hair transformation comes after Tiwa Savage debuted her fresh new short hair over the weekend. As we reported, this makes her the second Nigerian celebrity going short for the New Year. #Hairgoals indeed!
