It is not easy to be loyal to a certain hairstyle for a long period of time. For celebrities, one week is enough or at most two weeks, not to talk about the hair chameleons who keep changing their hairstyles the way they change their clothes. While most of these celebs are rarely seen with the same hairstyle, Stephanie Linus has been sticking to what seems like a signature hairstyle but it wasn’t, after all.
Back in January, the actress decided to have a major haircut, shaving off her hair completely to the scalp. At that time, Stephanie joined a growing list of other celebrities who opted to change their look for the new year. In her own words, she wanted to feel liberated while trying out something new for the year 2020. Her post was also accompanied by the hashtag that says “express yourself and be bold.”
“Hey Amazonias, Don’t overthink it,” the actress captioned the photo. “It’s 2020! I just wanted to try something new. It’s been a long time I saw my scalp! Growing my hair afresh… I can’t wait to see the new growth. It’s quite liberating I must say! #Expressyourselfandbebold.”
However, it’s clear the Nollywood star has enjoyed her hair growth journey, especially during the months of the compulsory stay-at-home. And we can tell you, the thick black hair is now healthier than before and even big enough to be braided on.

Yesterday, Linus shared a series of gorgeous new photos of herself sporting long brown braids that proved just how much she missed the protective hairstyle. After all, being a one-hairstyle-devotee is one of the hardest things. In the photo, the 37-year-old also wore a knitted creamy tank top with matching pants, complete with accouterments of the same shade.
