Michele who served as the FLOTUS for eight years during her husband’s presidency was never for once seen in her natural hair, but instead, we were used to seeing her in a relaxed, straightened, and blown out hair at the time (Of course, you can confirm from her countless pictures flooding online). So it is easy to why people were amazed.
Apart from that, for Michelle Obama to wholeheartedly embrace her natural ‘do was kind of breaking the mold following the discrimination of black women for not complying with the “traditional beauty standards.” For that reason, it was fair for Twitter fans to air their surprise and also applaud the fashionista former Flotus.
