Lupita Nyong’o has been making headlines in the past few months – from tons of her exquisite magazine cover to that futuristic appearance at the Star Wars: Force Awakens London premier. This year is indeed an incredible year for the Keyan born actress.
There’s no denying her style star status as we keep dreaming of her signature eye-catching style. And when it comes to her showing us her naked face (no makeup), we are never void of inspiration when dreaming up our next look.
Lupita is a true role model when it comes to body positivity and accepting that what you have and who you are as a person are beautiful things. She’s one actress out there who can do without makeup (whether for herself or for insecurity). We’re not saying there’s anything wrong with highlighting your skin, but Lupita Nyong’o’s fresh take is worthy of emulation, at least once in a while.
On her arrival at JFK airport in New York, following Star Wars’ London premiere, she was spotted wearing a form-fitting black T-shirt with a coordinating pair of fitted trousers, teamed with a pair of black ankle booties. As reported, Lupita bundled up for the flight, sporting a long, heavy grey peacoat as well as a thick, black and white patterned scarf. She also hid her eyes behind a pair of reflective, round-framed sunglasses, and carried a stylish, black leather handbag. What really caught our attention is her makeup free face as she proved what it really means to be beautiful outside.
