When the lengendary fashion designer Oscar de la Renta passed away last year, it was as if the end was near for the famous fashion brand. de la Renta made the best choice to have named his successor, Mr Peter Copping as the first Creative Director of Oscar de la Renta just a week before his dead. Today, Mr Copping is proving that he can play along with Oscar’s wishes to forward the fashion house.
From Copping’s debut collection, it is evident that he is understanding what the fashion house is all about – at least doing what the lengendary designer would wish. “I’m sure he’d want me to get on board and find a way to forward the house,” Copping said.
