Coker is always playing with different themes — you can see it in the way one collection will look worthy of the set of “The Black Swan” while another looks straight from the runways of the ’70s. Her designs are always flattering, with a little bit of dramatic flare.
Designer extraordinaire Folake Folarin-Coker, revolutionized the Nigerian fashion industry with her leading fashion label, Tiffany Amber and has recently been recognized by Forbes as one of the top 20 power women in Africa 2013.
Ten years after launching Tiffany Amber she made her first major international debut, showcasing at the Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week in New York. Blown away by her collections, the organizers of the New York Fashion Show invited her to stage a second show, the first African-based designer at the time to have been accorded that privilege in the history of the event.

With international success tucked safely under her belt she was now ready for bigger and better things. Coker decided to extend her creative borders by adding two more lines under Tiffany Amber Nigeria; TAN by Tiffany Amber (Diffusion Line) and Folake Folarin (Couture Line). Each line is distinctive but together represents her iconic style, striking the balance between local flavour and international appeal that is so hard to find.

The Nigerian fashionista won designer of the year at the African Fashion International (AFI) in 2009 in Johannesburg. The AW 2011 Fearless Luxury collection won “Fashion Brand of the year” at the Arise Magazine Fashion Week. The brand is, without a doubt, fast becoming the premier African lifestyle brand.
Fifteen years after launching her label, Folake has become a mainstay in the fashion industry as she continues to develop a strong design philosophy by staying true to her vision of a true woman.
